Installed Wordpress, changed over the template to my new one. Started bringing HTML elements over and linking all the CSS and Javascript. Here we go again…
I’m trying a bunch of new things I’ve never done in Wordpress before. Namely:
- jQuery slider element on the home page allows you to browse through recent posts in different categories
- jQuery photo gallery that will (eventually) be controlled by something like NextGen Gallery
- Minimal Comment area with sliding Post tray (more jQuery)
- “Recent Posts” area and “Popular Posts” area
We’ll see how it turns out I suppose. For now I’ll
just
have
to work
on my header styling
and various other elements
